For the Author's Tables project with Tuti Barrera, the inspiration was a rustic countryside lunch. Blue took center stage, featuring the "Florelba" tableware from Carmen del Viboral, complemented by table settings adorned with illustrations of the French countryside and hues reminiscent of her favorite flowers: roses and ranunculus, chosen for their organic elegance.
The tablecloth plays a starring role, echoing the blue and white striped fabric of the cushions, and napkins in Toile de Jouy. Tuti adores the interplay of prints and textures in harmonious colors, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.
At the table's center, two golden candelabras with white candles add a romantic, vintage charm. The choice of vases includes varied shapes and sizes from Carmen del Viboral and Chinese ceramics, all in shades of blue.
True to her style, Tuti incorporates fruits and vegetables as table accents, selecting Meyer lemons, pitayas, and small bowls of cape gooseberries for each guest's place setting.
